'Niagara Moments' Shell Purse from the 1920's

'Niagara Moments' Shell Purse from the 1920's

A$95.00

Niagara conjures up much nostalgia. It was seen as 'the' holiday destination in the 1920's. Many lovers went there on honeymoon during this period. In 1953 the film noir "Niagara" was launched. A thriller starring Marilyn Monroe and Joseph Cotton it has some wonderful scenes of the falls.

This natural shell hand-painted mini purse with a brass hinge and decorative opening would have been a treasured momento of a special time at Niagara (hopefully no murder as in the film)!!
It has detailed dividers inside in bright orange.

In excellent condition for its age.
